Depending on the specific procedure and surgeon, the healthcare provider responsible for the operation may be The Health Clinic OÜ or another licensed healthcare provider through which the operating surgeon provides the surgical service.
Operations are carried out in licensed hospitals or surgical clinics.
Before healthcare services are provided, the patient is informed which healthcare provider is responsible for the relevant stage of treatment.
The Health Clinic coordinates the different stages of the patient’s treatment pathway and ensures that the patient has the necessary information and access to the medical team before and after surgery.
Medical Responsibility
Each healthcare provider is responsible for the healthcare services it provides in accordance with applicable law and the agreement concluded with the patient.
Where The Health Clinic OÜ is the healthcare provider responsible for the operation, The Health Clinic is responsible for the surgical healthcare service in accordance with applicable law and the agreement concluded with the patient.
Where the operation is provided by another licensed healthcare provider, that provider is responsible for the healthcare services it provides.
Medical decisions, including the patient’s suitability for a procedure, the treatment method, the surgical technique and postoperative care instructions, are made by the healthcare professional responsible for the relevant stage of treatment.
